Ella Devi was born and raised in New York City as a first-generation American. A Parsons photography student, she is the winner of the 2025 Baruch College Photojournalism Award. She has been working in high fashion since the age of 13 and is now an online fashion commentator, working with brands like Valentino and Polene. Her written and video work deals with the intersection of style, politics, and culture. Off the internet, she is a communications professional working on projects related to grassroots organizing or high fashion. She is equal parts Sri Lankan (bad) and Serbian (worse).
